1. About CIM

Christian Institute of Management (CIM) is a registered educational and research organisation headquartered in India. CIM provides management education, training programmes, consultancy services, publications, and related services. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website at www.cimindia.in, including all its associated subdomains, and any transactions conducted through it, including payments made via our online payment gateway.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website and making use of any of our online services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

3. Eligibility

To use our services or make payments through this website, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• Possess a valid and authorised payment instrument (credit card, debit card, e-wallet or bank account).

4. Online Payment Facility

4.1 Payment Methods

Payments for donations, registration fees, course fees, books, or other services may be made using:

• Credit / Debit Cards
• Net Banking
• UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
• Other methods as made available by our payment gateway provider, Razorpay.

4.2 Payment Gateway

All online payments are processed securely through Razorpay Payment Gateway Services. By making a payment, you also agree to the terms and conditions of Razorpay as applicable. CIM does not store any credit card, debit card, or bank account information on its servers.

4.3 Transaction Accuracy

You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information entered during the payment process — including the amount, name, contact details, and payment instrument details — is accurate and correct. CIM and Razorpay shall not be responsible for any loss arising from incorrect information submitted by you.

We recommend that you retain a copy or screenshot of the transaction confirmation for your records, which may assist in resolving any future disputes.

4.4 Aggregator Charges

Users are advised to note that payment gateway and aggregator charges may apply to transactions. Such charges are governed by the terms of the respective payment service provider and are the responsibility of the user unless expressly stated otherwise.

5. Acknowledgement and Receipts

Upon successful payment, an acknowledgement will be sent to your registered email address. Official payment receipts will be issued and dispatched by email and/or post within a reasonable time or will be provided to you at the venue of the programme. Study materials or ordered items (such as books) will be dispatched by courier or postal service.

6. Online Safety and Security

CIM provides its online payment service through a secure, SSL/TLS-encrypted environment. However, users are advised to:

• Ensure they are accessing the website through a secure, private internet connection.
• Avoid completing transactions over public or unsecured Wi-Fi networks.
• Keep their login credentials, OTPs, and payment details confidential.

CIM and the payment service provider shall have no liability for any loss resulting from the user's exposure to unsafe or public online environments.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, course materials, and publications — is the intellectual property of CIM or its licensors and is protected under applicable Indian copyright laws. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or use of any content is strictly prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CIM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, our website or services. 10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, India. CIM encourages amicable resolution of disputes and may offer mediation as a first step.
