About the Course

Why People Make or Break Your Mission

Organisational Behaviour examines how individuals, groups and organisational systems influence workplace effectiveness and performance.

The course introduces key concepts in individual behaviour, motivation, leadership, teamwork, organisational culture, conflict management and organisational change — helping you understand how human behaviour affects decision-making, staff and volunteer engagement, productivity and organisational effectiveness.

It also introduces the principles and applications of Organisational Development (OD), including interventions that support organisational learning, innovation and sustainable change — so you can apply behavioural concepts to real-world situations as a present or future leader of a non-profit.

A values-based perspective. A Biblical lens runs through the course, encouraging ethical leadership, healthy relationships, stewardship and people-centred organisational practices.
