
CIM’s Silver Jubilee celebration in Delhi brought together a vibrant community of professionals and leaders committed to effective governance and accountability. The event, which took place on February 27, 2025, featured a compelling panel discussion centred on “Accountability for Institution Building”, showcasing insights from a diverse lineup of panellists.
The panel discussion, moderated by Dr. CA Sanjay Patra, brought together important leaders, including Mr. Satya Chakrapani, Promoter and Catalyst of Shikhar Group, Ms. Nalini Nupur Paul, the Regional Director of Restless Development, Mr. Soumya Mohanty the CEO of CNI-SBSS, and Professor Sonajharia Minz from JNU’s School of Computer and Systems Sciences. The discussion explored the critical role of accountability in building flourishing and productive institutions. They also provided insights addressing challenges and sharing success stories from various sectors.
The public function commenced with a welcome address from Dr. Samuel N. J. David, Chairman of the CIM Society, who set the tone for the evening by emphasising the importance of transparent and accountable practices within institutions. Following this, Dr. Aby Alexandar, the Executive Director, shared CIM’s vision and strategic directions, highlighting the organisation’s commitment to promoting integrity and excellence. Pr. Samir Deokuliar shared from God’s word.
A significant highlight of the evening was the release of the book “Accountability Integration for Organizational Flourishing”, introduced by Dr. Mercia Justin, Director of Management Courses, Research & Publications. The book, which aims to provide frameworks and insights for fostering accountability within organisations, was officially launched by Mr. John Samuel, Former Chief Post Master General of the Government of India. Copies of the book were received by Dr. Priya John, General Secretary of CMAI, and Dr. Sanjay Patra, Vice Chair of GTP, in the presence of Dr. Samuel N. J. David, Dr. Aby Alexandar and Dr. Mercia Justin.
The evening also featured greetings from notable figures, including Mrs. Tehmina Arora, Director of Advocacy for Asia at ADF International, Mr. Eldo N. Varghese, National General Secretary of YMCA, and Mrs. Sonia Daniel, Director of Internal Communications and Project Relations at EFI.
The event concluded with a dinner, providing attendees with networking opportunities.
Overall, the Silver Jubilee celebrations not only commemorated 25 years of CIM’s impactful work but also reinforced the critical need for accountability as a cornerstone of institutional integrity and growth.
