It is common knowledge that good governance among NGOs and NPOs is almost always lacking. CIM has been working with its partners to equip NGOs and other organisations in management and governance to fill this lack/gap.
On February 4, CIM held a seminar on “Governance and Management” in Ahmedabad for leaders of NGOs and other organisations. The seminar focused on governance compliance, property and asset management, finance compliance and effective management strategies.

Mr. Raja Christopher, Director of Training at CIM, was the resource person for the event. Leading the seminar, he shared valuable insights into governance compliance and effective management strategies. Mr. Augustine Saxena, the local coordinator, ensured the event went smoothly.
The twenty participants left the seminar equipped with new strategies and encouragement to tackle challenges in their workplace. Their feedback highlighted the programme's impact, with one participant noting, "Everything shared in the programme was completely new to me, but it was essential". Another participant remarked, “The people who missed today’s session have missed a great opportunity”.
In a world where NGOs and NPOs struggle with compliance, management and performance with limited resources, CIM’s work enables them to achieve management excellence.
As NGOs and NPOs continue to navigate the complexities of compliance and resource limitations, CIM's commitment to fostering management excellence is vital in helping these organisations thrive.
