This season's Indigenous Resource Mobilisation (IRM) online course, progressing in full swing, has seen increased participation from the Northern and North-Easthern states.
The IRM course is one of CIM's long-standing and well-received programmes. It has become increasingly critical in the context of depleting foreign funding sources in India.
The courses goes beyond traditional fundraising, focusing on a variety of resources including time, talent, and treasure. As the instructors emphasise, true investment in making a difference requires allocating these three key resources meaningfully. The course advocates for a strategic approach to resource mobilisation, underpinned by prayer.
Leading the course are two experienced professionals: Mr Joseph Mathai, COO - TIP International, and Mr Jacob C Varghese, an independent communication specialist for non-profits.
Feedback from the participants:
Rhoda Deena Prabhu Jonthala from Rajendranagar, Telengana says, "the Indigenous Resource Mobilisation (IRM) course knowledge is for everyone in the organisation, as these principles are essential for our collective growth and mission."
Nitu Basumatry from Udalguri, BTR, Assam has mentioned that "the resource persons, with their deep expertise in Resource Mobilisation, have inspired us to actively engage with donors. I believe CIM will cultivate more leaders in the coming days."
